THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
The international jury was approved by the Swiss Sailing Association, as required by their prescription. A delegate of Swiss Sailing Association was present throughout the regatta. The OA received the approval of the Star Class to permit pumping, rocking and ooching in accordance with Appendix P5 when the wind speed is sustained at 6 kts or higher at deck level on a race committee vessel.

The regatta proceeded in two parts: the Swiss Star Championship as a qualifying series; followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. The second part of the regatta used Addendum Q with direct judging for ten boats for the quarter-finals, four for the semi-finals and finals. Three jury boats provided good coverage for these races.

The prize money for the top finishers had no impact on the work done by the international jury, either in hearings for the fleet racing, or for direct judging under Addendum Q.
