One of the sailors was visually impaired and needed assistance throughout. His father | coach sent the OA the protocol as established by the RYA which enabled the sailor to race whilst given basic assistance via a freely available VHF channel. No issues, just praise.
The Optimist Class was divided in three groups with a separate group for novices. The Lasers were on a separate racing area. Race Management on the Optimist course was excellent.
