Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
An International Jury was initially to be appointed for this event.
However, a number of entries significant lower than expected made the appointment of an International Jury impracticable, and an appealable jury of three members was finally appointed and constituted.
A forth member Ruggero Saderini, initially appointed to the Race Committee was co-opted to the Jury to support Rule 42 on water with two ribs.
Changes were applied to Sailing Instructions in agreement with Race Officer, in order to conform to the needs of the class and be ready to deal with expected weather conditions. Eventually the 4 regatta days fitted into a perfect window of 4 windy and sunny days that allowed the full program of 10 scheduled races to be completed.
The starting penalty as by the experimental Uniform Flag has been in force in more than the 50% of the starts.
In conclusion a pleasant event, fine racing, good hospitality and happy competitors.
