The NJK did a fantastic job making the event a success, with the 6mR yachts splitted in two fleets, Classic (41) and modern (11). The Regatta was successfully completed despite of all the troubles with the unstable wind, lots of rain, AP up and down plus restart after restart etc. Seven starts out of six were sailed in fine conditions for each fleet. The RC was forced only once to abandon a race applying a special time limit rule requested by the class. Such SI set as 50 minutes for modern yachts, and 55 minutes for classic yachts, the time limit to complete each leg of the course. This SI, combined with the deletion of rule 32.1(c), limit the discretion of the RC to abandon a race because insufficient wind. The jury suggested to post a notice specifying the meaning of "complete a leg of the course" in the SI, using the wordings of the rule C7.2(c). The RC used some time the black flag rule after AP, without any compliant by competitors. Some protest did arise from collision with (serious) damages and the retirement of boats. Fine atmosphere and cooperation with the PRO and between judges, rotating in chairing hearings. All protest have been recorded using ISAF template, printed and saved applying the envelop system.
