Outstanding Organisation and Race Management, right down to the weather! On first day support vessels drifted downwind onto course as their boats finished. Hearings were held and warnings posted to warn competitors of those support persons. Explained at coach and competitor info sessions that event wanted 'brain fades' to stop, rather than issue penalties and this rectified behaviour and kept relationships in good order. Only P2.1 applied, the fleet as a whole was quite respectful of this, explained at Info sessions that after multiple penalties Jury would consider protesting under 42 or 2 or have a hearing under 69, explaining case 138. One boat intended to retire if they had further penalties. - AUSBF10
