Appendix P was invoked by the SIs, but the boats provided by the OA (28' Coast Guard Patrol boats) were not suitable for said application.
The Race Signal Flags used by the RC were too small or out of proportion and often in the wrong color (papa flag looked black instead of blue) and whiskey (to signal windward-leeward courses for the snipes as per class rules) looked like a blue flag from the distance. An OCS request for redress was granted because the blue cross of the X-Ray flag was so thin that, from the middle of the line, the flag appeared to be a plain white flag instead of an individual recall flag.
Other than that, four classes (laser full rig, laser radial, snipes men and snipes women) sailed in a beautiful venue and sailing conditions.
